occupational hygiene

Occupational Hygiene is the science of protecting people from the harmful effects of substances and adverse environments in the workplace. Much more than COSHH assessments this includes managing noise, vibration, heat, radiation and ergonomic risks.

Hundreds of thousands of people are affected by their work and many suffer permanent harm. From exposure to a chemical through to noisy environments health effects can be serious, dramatically impacting peoples quality of life.

We can conduct workplace and personal exposure monitoring for noise, vibration and a range of chemical hazards. We will then work with you to develop and implement systems of control to reduce the risks to your staff. On-going review and monitoring help ensure the controls are working effectively.
